1. Summary

Discovery of hidden and useful knowledge from huge data collections. In particular, the target is knowledge discovery from image databases.

2. Data Mining from Typhoon Image Collection

We are creating the data collection of a large number of typhoon images by cropping regions around the center of the typhoon from meteorology satellite images taken by "Himawari." Our goal is to discover new knowledge from this data collection.
