Recent Trend in Open Science and its Impact on the Informatics Discipline

*Open Science* is a concept that bundles various movement on science to make it more open. The diversity of stakeholders involved in open science leads to high complexity of the road to open science. In addition, open science tends to ask for the revolution of the current culture of “closed” research, hence there is risk of moving toward undesirable direction without careful consideration of incentives to scientists. This paper discusses some keywords to discuss the value of open science, and introduces some of the examples in the field of PRMU.
