- About criteria for inclusion, disasters by typhoons, heavy rains or strong winds are included when the number of people killed or missing is large (through 1950, more than 100, through 1965, more than 50, through 1975, more than 25, through 1985, more than 15, and after 1985, more than 5), but the significance of damage is also considered.
