Typhoon UNALA was changed from hurricane (tropical depression) to a typhoon near Midway Islands. This typhoon made a rare event of two successive "across-the-border" typhoons within two days, but this typhoon is nearly dying now, so it will have a very short life as a typhoon. This typhoon looks like it was born just to make this record.
