Typhoon NAKRI was formed in east of Philippines. This is relatively a large typhoon; comparing
the size of gale wind, it has nearly the double size of
Typhoon HALONG, formed yesterday. However, looking at the satellite image, the typhoon consists of several separate clusters of clouds, with less clouds near the center. This kind of typhoon is difficult to intensify, so the
typhoon track forecast shows a moderate level of intensification. We should pay attention to heavy rains rather than strong winds, especially heavy rains that could occur at places far from the typhoon center.
