Typhoon RUMBIA was formed in north of Kumejima Island. The center of the tropical storm has already passed near Okinawa Main Island and is moving away from it. But the rainy clouds are covering over a large area, from Amami to Okinawa Main Island to Sakishima Islands, so heavy rains could occur in areas far from the center of the typhoon.
