According to typhoon information from Japan Meteorological Agency, the possibility of Typhoon CHOI-WAN making landfall at Kanto area is small, and may pass through south of Izu archipelago. Advisories for heavy rainfall is still being issued.

According to typhoon information from Japan Meteorological Agency, Typhoon CHOI-WAN is still developing, and will move off the Southern Coast of Shikoku and Honshu. The forecast also points out the possibility of making landfall around Kanto area.

According to typhoon information from Japan Meteorological Agency, happily enough, Typhoon CHOI-WAN is not heading toward Miyako island, devastatingly damaged by the former Typhoon MAEMI, but Typhoon CHOI-WAN is forecasted to move to Okinawa main island, and then further to Honshu island.
