Typhoon NAMTHEUN was formed in south of Okinawa. It is forecast to move northward to Amami and Kyushu. Typhoons of this season have been quite inactive in Okinawa and western Japan, which affects badly to coral reef due to very high temperature of sea surface temperature. We hope that this typhoon will bring about changes to this situation.
