Typhoon KHANUN was formed in south of Japan. It is forecast to pass somewhere around Amami Oshima Island and enter into East China Sea. This typhoon is not expected to show a steady intensification, but the concern is on the possibility of having rains in the east side of the typhoon above Kyushu region. We need to pay special attention to weather conditions in the affected areas of Kyushu region, which had already experienced severe damage during the event of heavy rains in northern Kyushu.
