Typhoon HAIYAN was formed near Truk Islands. It is forecast to move west with steady intensification. This is the first No.30 Typhoon in about 20 years since the 1994 season. The number of typhoons for the 2013 season may continue to increase because the "egg" of a typhoon is constantly appearing.
