Typhoon TORAJI was formed in the Gulf of Tonkin. This area is narrowly enclosed by Hainan Island, China Mainland, and Vietnam, so the typhoon is expected to make landfall and disappear just after formation, and will be short-lived with its lifetime around just one day.
