Typhoon SAOLA is moving north in south of Sakishima Islands, and evolved into a large typhoon whose gale wind area includes from Naha to Sakishima Islands, from Taiwan to the north of Philippines. The typhoon is forecast to keep moving north, so it is likely that Yonagunijima Islands will be directly struck by the typhoon. Moreover, the typhoon has thick clouds in the south and in the west, so heavy rains might occur after the typhoon has passed.
