Typhoon JANGMI made landfall at Yilan County, Taiwan, on 15:40 local time, and will traverse the central mountains of Taiwan by tomorrow morning. The typhoon has started weakening before making landfall, but the landfall will make the typhoon even weaker. This typhoon is initially forecast to move a similar track with the previous Typhoon 200814, but now it is forecast to move a similar track with second previous Typhoon 200813 (comparison of three typhoons). It is, however, difficult to keep its intensity tenaciously compared to Typhoon 200813, because Honshu regions in Japan has already turned into autumn season.
