Typhoon 201111 (NANMADOL) Typhoon Name = (NANMADOL) : A famous Pohnpei ruin; the "Venice of the Pacific" [Micronesia]

Typhoon NANMADOL has intensified rapidly in east of Philippines. The northeast of Luzon Island, Philippines, has entered into the storm-wind circle. This typhoon had compact and well-developed clouds in the center from the beginning, which means that the cloud shape of this typhoon suggests tendency to intensification. If you compare this typhoon with Typhoon TALAS, which is active at the same time, Typhoon TALAS looks larger with extensive clouds on satellite images, and in fact it has a larger gale-wind circle, but a closer look on satellite images indicates that the organization of clouds are worse for Typhoon TALAS and it likely needs longer time for intensification. It seems to me that Typhoon NANMADOL is one typical example of typhoons that have strong tendency for intensification.
