Typhoon WUKONG was formed in east of Philippines. It is forecast to traverse the south of Philippines, and move to South China Sea. It looks close to southern Mindanao Island, which was struck very hard by Typhoon Bopha, but the track is relatively far away in the north, and the cloud is also biased toward north, so it is likely that the hardest hit areas will not be affected severely by this typhoon.
