Typhoon LUPIT is forecast, by organizations of countries, to make a S-shaped curve in its track. This typhoon had been moving westward since its formation, but it started to turn back eastward today, and according to the forecast, however, it is expected to turn westward again soon. This typhoon unexpectedly became a difficult typhoon to predict, but this S-shaped curve may change the impact of the typhoon on Philippines, where the successive strikes of Typhoon KETSANA and Typhoon PARMA caused extensive disasters. It is still not clear if this S-curve is a blessing for Philippines in terms of track and intensity.
